Privacy Policy

Data we collect

We collect only what we need to run the service:

• Recruiter account data — name, email, and workspace details, handled by our authentication provider (Clerk).
• Candidate interview data — the video and audio you record, the transcript generated from it, and any email address supplied with the interview link.
• AI assessment data — scores, strengths, concerns, and a recommendation generated from your answers.
• Operational data — basic logs and product analytics used to keep the service reliable and secure.

How we use it

Candidate recordings are processed to produce a transcript and an AI-generated assessment that the recruiter uses to evaluate the application. Recordings are analysed by automated systems; the resulting scores are advisory and a human recruiter makes the hiring decision. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use candidate recordings to train third-party AI models.

Sub-processors

We share data only with the processors that operate the service:

• Clerk — recruiter authentication.
• Mux — secure video upload, storage, and playback.
• OpenAI — speech-to-text transcription.
• Anthropic — assessment of transcribed answers.
• Neon — encrypted database hosting.
• Cloudflare — application hosting and content delivery.
• Resend — transactional email.

Retention

We keep candidate interview data for as long as the recruiter's workspace needs it to evaluate the application, and then for a limited period afterwards. Recruiters can delete a candidate's data at any time, and candidates can request deletion directly (see below). Deleting a record removes the personal data while preserving anonymous, non-identifying references needed for integrity.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, use our data request form or email us. We respond to verified requests within the timeframe required by applicable law.
